Volk is a highly regarded, global organization and is a subsidiary of Halma, a FTSE 100 company. To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for you!
Package, ship, and track products using the most cost‑effective methods; coordinate with carriers and load shipments as needed.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials/products; distribute to appropriate departments and manage returns.
Operate equipment and handle materials safely, adhering to all safety practices and guidelines.
Communicate shipping/receiving issues promptly and ensure compliance with all SOPs, QSRs, and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with shipping vendors and requirements
The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions such as Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Quality Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
The ability to perform simple writing tasks such as recording log entries into an ERP system, lot numbers and dates.
The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
