Within Halma, we recognise that our activities have an environmental impact. Our purpose of growing a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day is central to who we are as a business and the foundation for our approach to environmental issues. It drives us to maximise our positive impact on the world, and to minimise the negative effects that we may have as a business.
We commit to align with the goals of the Paris Agreement by encouraging all Halma companies to reduce their negative environmental impact by continually improving the efficiency of their production methods and their supply chain.
We are also focused on our positive impact on the environment, and Halma companies are world leaders in a number of technologies which help to minimise environmental damage. We are committed to the development of equipment for measuring and monitoring environmental changes and controlling the impact of industrial activities over the long term.

At Halma, we believe in doing business the right way. Our Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the minimum standards we expect from our suppliers and business partners. It reflects our core values and aligns with Halma’s own Code of Conduct – “Just be a Good Person.”
We all share a responsibility to uphold ethical business practices. Halma is committed to never compromising ethics or integrity for commercial gain. By adhering to this Code, and holding each other accountable, we aim to foster responsible, transparent, and sustainable supply chains. It covers legal, ethical, social and environmental responsibilities.
This Code will be introduced on a phased and risk-based approach, prioritising the highest risk and largest suppliers of our most mature companies first.
As a decentralised organisation, individual Halma companies may have additional supplier requirements based on their operating context. However, this Code sets the core standards that all suppliers are expected to meet or exceed.
