Halma recognised with Balance in Business Award for third consecutive year
05 June 2026
Halma has been recognised at the 2026 Balance in Business (BiB) Awards, being named Best Overall for the first time, receiving a Trailblazer Exco & Direct Reports Award for the third consecutive year, and recognised as runner-up in the Sector Excellence category, in recognition of its sustained progress on gender balance.
Presented by the INSEAD BiB Initiative and the Institute of Directors, the awards recognise organisations demonstrating sustained progress towards gender balance at Executive Committee and Direct Report level.
Halma has made gender representation a priority across its plc Board and Executive Board. Today, women make up 55% of Halma’s Board and 67% of its Executive Board. Women also hold 52% of senior leadership roles across the Executive Board, plc Board and Divisional Chief Executive positions, supported by a strong pipeline of senior women leaders across the Group. The depth of that pipeline is further reflected in the appointment of one of Halma’s home-grown female executives to a Group CEO role at Spectris from 1 September, underscoring the strength of leadership experience developed within the Group.
“This recognition reflects the progress we have made across Halma to build inclusive businesses and more balanced leadership. Diverse teams bring broader perspectives, strengthen decision-making and support long-term performance,” said Marc Ronchetti, Group CEO.
Jennifer Ward, Chief Talent, Culture & Communications Executive, added:
"This recognition is the result of clear leadership accountability, sustained effort and action over time. We are proud of the progress made so far and remain focused on continuing that work across the Group"
