Halma recognised for championing gender diversity for a second year

05 June 2025

We are pleased to announce that Halma has been awarded for a second year a Balance in Business (BiB) Award in the Trailblazer Exco & D/Rs FTSE 100 category. This award, by the INSEAD BiB Initiative and Institute of Directors, recognises organisations with balanced representation of men and women at the Executive Committee/Direct Report Level.

Halma was also recognised on its Roll of Honour celebrating previous award-winning companies that continue to inspire and set a benchmark for others to follow.

“We’re delighted that Halma is being recognised as an example of what’s possible,” said Jennifer Ward, Chief Talent, Culture & Communications Executive at Halma. “We began the journey to build balanced boards over 10 years ago, and Halma’s performance during that time speaks for itself. Halma’s success demonstrates that building inclusive businesses helps you win”.

This award highlights Halma’s progress in improving gender diversity on its Boards and senior leadership. When it set out on that path in 2013, all of its Executive Board were men. Today, women represent 50% and 67% of Halma’s Board and Executive Board, respectively. Additionally, 50% of all senior roles (Executive Board, Halma Board, and Divisional Chief Executives) are held by women and there is a growing number of senior women leaders across our portfolio of businesses.

“At Halma, we are committed to building diverse and inclusive businesses. We know that gender equality is crucial for thriving communities and businesses. We're encouraged by our progress over the years and inspired to do even more”, concluded Marc Ronchetti, Group CEO.
