Halma launches the Impact the Future Fund

25 September 2025

Building on Halma’s previous global campaigns—Gift of Sight and Water for Life—this initiative shifts the focus from a single global non-profit chosen by Halma to a company-led approach, in line with Halma’s decentralised model. Each of Halma’s 50 companies can apply for grants to support local non-profit organisations that align with their own purpose and with Halma’s purpose. Companies are also encouraged to involve their employees, leveraging their skills and expertise to contribute meaningfully to their chosen causes. The Fund is administered in partnership with the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

Halma has committed an initial £500,000 to launch the Fund, which supports our companies in amplifying their ongoing contributions to local communities. In its first year, an employee-led committee awarded grants to 19 out of 48 exceptional non-profit organisations nominated by our companies. These grants will support projects across key regions—including India, China, the US, Canada, and Europe—reflecting the global footprint of Halma’s companies and their deep connection to the communities where they live and work.

The Fund’s mission is to foster long-term partnerships between Halma companies and non-profit organisations dedicated to creating sustainable, positive impact. The selected organisations span a wide range of focus areas—from public health and environmental sustainability to community safety—demonstrating the Fund’s inclusive and locally responsive approach.

Marc Ronchetti, Halma's Group Chief Executive, commented:
"Impact the Future Fund builds on the incredible work our companies are already doing in communities around the world. It will amplify their impact—helping them go further by developing purpose-driven partnerships with local non-profit organisations to tackle urgent challenges we all care about, from protecting the vulnerable to improving health outcomes. These partnerships will help to create meaningful, sustainable change and I’m excited to see what they can accomplish together. I would like to extend my thanks to the team and committee whose dedication and commitment made the launch of the Impact the Future Fund possible.”
