Halma Group Chief Executive Marc Ronchetti Recognised as Advocate for Women in Business

25 September 2024

Halma Group Chief Executive Marc Ronchetti is today recognised for his commitment to gender diversity in business. INvolve, a global network championing diversity and inclusion in business, has selected Marc to feature in its Heroes Advocates Role Model List 2024.

Supported by YouTube and run by INvolve, this list recognises those who are breaking down barriers at work and smashing the ceiling for women within global business.

Halma has achieved gender balance in leadership with women holding 50% of all its senior roles (Executive Board, Halma Board and Divisional Chief Executives). The company has also achieved 50% and 56% female representation on the Halma plc and Executive Boards respectively. Notably, women hold key positions, such as the Chair and Senior Independent Director, in addition to two of the Sector Chief Executive roles. Moreover, the percentage of women on all company boards rose from 19% as of 31 March 2020 to 31% at the end of the 2024 financial year, representing an increase of 12% from when Halma started tracking this metric.

“At Halma, diversity, equity and inclusion is a powerful catalyst for growth and innovation. The diverse perspectives we embrace enable us to solve problems more effectively, reach new markets, and create a positive impact daily,” said Marc Ronchetti, Group Chief Executive at Halma. “I am delighted to stand alongside fellow business leaders in championing gender equality and recognising its positive impact on business.”

This recognition is an example of Halma’s long-term commitment to diversity. Former Group Chief Executive Andrew Williams featured on the list for three consecutive years (2020-2022).
