Press Releases - Halma agrees strategic partnership with VAPAR
Halma agrees strategic partnership with VAPAR
08 June 2022
VAPAR’s AI-powered software helps faster and more accurate condition assessment of sewer infrastructure, using CCTV footage from pipeline inspection cameras. Its cloud platform is powered by deep learning algorithms that help improve the speed and efficiency of pipeline inspections, reducing the need for time-intensive manual assessments.
VAPAR brings exciting new technologies to the Group and specifically to Halma’s Environmental & Analysis sector. As an example, Minicam, a Halma company that is a specialist in wastewater pipeline inspection, is well-placed to benefit from VAPAR’s technology.
Andrew Williams, Halma's Group Chief Executive, commented:
“VAPAR’s mission - to deliver the right technology to eliminate repetitive manual tasks in infrastructure management – is fully aligned with our purpose of growing a safer, cleaner and healthier future for everyone, every day. Our partnership will enable VAPAR to expand its markets internationally while bringing new technologies and capabilities to the Group and specifically our companies in Halma’s Environmental & Analysis sector.”
