Board Change
02 April 2015
Halma, the leading safety, health and environmental technology group, announces today that Neil Quinn, who has been a Board member since 1998, will retire from the Company on 31 March 2016. Therefore, Neil will not be seeking re-election as a Director of the Company at the AGM on 23 July 2015 and will stand down from the Board at the conclusion of the AGM.
Andrew Williams, CEO of Halma, commented:
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Neil for the tremendous contribution he has made to Halma’s success since joining as Sales Director of Apollo Fire Detectors almost 30 years ago. He has been an integral part of our Executive Board, most recently as Sector Chief Executive (SCE) of our Process Safety sector.
"In the coming year, Neil will continue as a member of Halma’s Executive Board and help us to complete an orderly succession process. This will result in Philippe Felten becoming Process Safety SCE in October 2015. Philippe joined Halma in 2002 as Sales Director of BEA S.A., our automatic door sensor business, before becoming their Chief Executive and then being promoted to Halma’s Executive Board in 2012. Philippe has an excellent track record of international business development with a strong focus on sales, marketing, new products and talent development."
