Halma Announces New Sector Vice Presidents

Following the changes to Halma's Executive Board, including the promotion of four Sector Chief Executives (‘SCE's) to run Halma's primary business sectors, the company today confirms the appointment of three new Sector Vice Presidents (‘SVP's).

Tim Prestidge joined Halma in early November 2014 and he will work in the Environmental and Analysis Sector, reporting to SCE Chuck Dubois. Tim was previously a member of the Executive Board at engineering and metrology company Renishaw, and holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Cambridge. He also serves on the Board of the Young Engineers charity that provides STEM* opportunities and encouragement to 9-18 year olds throughout the UK.

Paul Simmons, previously Managing Director of two of Halma's largest companies, takes up new responsibilities as SVP of Infrastructure Safety reporting to SCE Nigel Trodd. Paul joined Halma in 2010 from 3M and was instrumental in the reorganisation of Halma's elevator safety companies before becoming CEO of Apollo Group.

Todd Burt, currently President of Halma's fluidics component company Diba Industries, Inc, will assume his role as SVP in the new year, working under Medical SCE Adam Meyers. Todd has successfully led Diba after joining in 2007 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing; he was previously General Manager of SaatiTech, a world leader in specialty filtration products.
