This demand is resulting in increased safety regulation to ensure the safety of workers and passengers, and to protect high value assets. Following the acquisition of WEETECH in 2022, Halma’s Safety sector has expanded into this market by acquiring MK Test Systems in May 2024.
MK Test Systems manufactures safety-critical electrical testing technology used in the aerospace, rail and commercial vehicle industries. Based in Wellington, UK, its products test the electrical wiring of aeroplanes, trains and other vehicles to protect workers and passengers. The acquisition creates more opportunity for the Sector to deepen its knowledge of protecting infrastructure and assets and share this expertise across the group.
