In March 2023 Halma acquired FirePro, a leading designer and manufacturer of fire suppression systems.
Its technology protects people, critical infrastructure and equipment from fire using a non-pressurised condensed aerosol technology which does not contain ozone-depleting substances or greenhouse gases. This means FirePro can, extinguish fires without causing damage to the environment.
With FirePro, Halma’s Safety Sector has expanded its range of fire safety technologies. The acquisition creates more opportunity for the Sector to deepen its knowledge of the fire sector and share expertise across all the fire companies in the group.
Joining Halma has given FirePro access to the benefits of a global group, enabling it to accelerate its own growth ambitions.
