“Our success as a business is a result of our successfull people.”

Chief Executive Halma plc

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

Our technology is used to save lives, prevent injuries, and protect people and assets around the world. On energy pipelines, in airports, and even underground, our products are detecting hazards, stopping accidents and actively ensuring safety.

We develop products that secure and protect the elements critical to healthy lives. They analyse air for pollutants and water for drinking. They make medical diagnosis faster, treatments more effective, and even give sight back to the blind.

If you’re interested in working for a business whose primary focus is to protect and improve the lives of people around the world, you’ve come to the right place. We aim to be a company that does good work, and that’s good to work for.

“I feel proud when I see our product helping people.”

Eva Kosanovic,
President, Keeler Inc.

In-house Training for Personal and Professional Development

Our strength comes from attracting exceptional people – but we don’t stop there. We believe in continuous learning and invest heavily in individual development to help our employees excel.

The Opportunity to Shine

We offer almost uniquely high levels of autonomy, entrepreneurialism and responsibility for such a large company.

Our decentralised structure means that managers of our operating companies have the freedom to be autonomous and make decisions, whilst enjoying support and cooperation from the larger group. This is challenging and exciting, and it means exceptional performance is recognised and rewarded.

Almost all the members of our executive board have been promoted from our subsidiary companies. Our CEO, Andrew Williams, joined Halma in 1994 as a Manufacturing Director of one of its subsidiary companies. He was appointed Chief Executive of the whole group in 2005.

"Working at Halma, you do what you're great at in a way that helps the broader world"

Jennifer Ward,
Group Talent Director, Halma plc

International Career Development Opportunities

Halma companies are located around the world. We encourage collaboration and the opportunity to network with events such as HITE (Halma Innovation and Technology Exposition) which offers great exposure for individuals.

Diverse Products and Applications

From mechanical interlocking to mass spectrometry, Halma companies work with diverse and interesting technologies. Our applications are vast, and seek to protect and improve the lives of people around the world.

We encourage the sharing of knowledge and technology throughout Halma. This ability to transfer state-of-the-art technology from company to company, from one sector to another, is something most of our competitors simply do not have.

Through collaboration and sharing best practice we continue to deliver specialist safety, health and environmental technologies that protect people in a variety of ways.

See how we approach innovation.

Be Part of Our Success Story

These are some of the ways that we believe set us apart. Our decentralised structure, investment in people and high potential for career progression foster an environment where success breeds success.

Be part of our success story.
