To ensure our continued investment in people, in 2014 we created a Group Talent Director role on the Halma Executive Board and appointed Jennifer Ward to this position. Jennifer has global responsibility to develop our talent across Halma. This aligns with our strategic goals and ensures we focus on attracting the right people. We then continue to identify and support our employees’ self-development during their career with us.
We offer challenging personal development programmes to raise the quality of leadership throughout Halma. Our individual companies also offer customised support alongside targeted training courses for recognised qualifications and every year we reward the operating company with the best training record. The 2015 winner was Diba Industries, which has done excellent work integrating the People Development activities and our graduate programme with its company values and business objectives.
